i sit in my bed and write theses lines, while my man still sleeps next to me. what a cutey. we spent this weekend at home enjoying ourselves and right now the sun shines beautifully through the windows and i think i'm going to prepare some late breakfast for us on the balkony later. noahs family called a few days ago and asked if we would come to see them in seattle for "schawuk" (not sure this is spelled the right way). it's a jewish feast. my man and his familly originally come from isreal, therefor they're jews and they do live their religion. noah told me his family follows the more liberal jewish way of living, which i really appreciate. he told me that at that days the family comes together and on one special evening every family-member reads some line from the thora. i am really looking forward to be part of it. his mon was great as she called and invited me, too. even they are more liberal, seeing noah being gay and living with me, might struggle them somehow. but i must confess his parents never showed, so maybe they are really fine with their son's decision. i am told to meet noahs brother levi and his family (he's married and got 2 children). i have no idea what's waiting for me, but i am curious. i just remember i need to ask noah what "schmogg" means. as his mom called i heard his father talking in the background to her, calling me a "schmogg". this word sounds strange to my ears. sometimes my man also uses hebrew or jewish expressions and i love it.
he is still asleep now, so i'll leave bed and see if i can prepare some nice stuff. i feel like i want to cheer my man today. i need to ask him later, if we leave NY today or tomorrow to see his family... :-)
