hanging round with the guys

last friday i got a message from marc, who's engaged with isa. they're going to marry in about three month. in february we talked about, if we might have a drink on our own, just the boys without the girls. so marc, ash and me met at zanzibar. i must confess i really thought of turning around and going back home from the very first moment i steped in. the music was horror and the people who danced and made a party of it, too. but i decided to have a drink at least and to talk to them both, for we do not meet often and it was the first time i got the chance to meet marc without having isa hanging right behind his back. we parked at the bar and had some nice talk, not too private or intense, because we don't really have things in common or better to say no time yet to find out. marc and ash do meet more often and do share a lot of experiences i didn't take part in, so sometimes there were things and stories i couldn't share or say anything on it. nevertheless it was a nice evening so far, after the music changed to some better, and sort of a start to meet more often in future. i guess i'll find out. would be fine to see them again, i think.
